This is for new coaches to our coaching program or young students or parents that are eager to develop their coaching skills.

Basketball Queensland Information
Level of coaching: Aussie Hoops and Club
Accreditation:

Community accreditation
No experience required
This is the first basketball specific accreditation in your coaching journey and touches on how to develop individual skills as well as basic team concepts.
This is a minimum requirement to be a head coach at junior club/rep level.
Crushers Description
All Crushers coaches need to be on a path to complete the Aussie Hoops / Community Coach course.
Upon completion of this accreditation there are options for basic coach payments or discounts if approved by the Crushers Committee and Head Coach.

$20-$40 per session and game

Basketball Queensland Information
This is the first basketball specific accreditation in your coaching journey and touches on how to develop individual skills as well as basic team concepts.
This is a minimum requirement to be a head coach at junior club/rep level.
Crushers Description
The Club Coach accreditation is for Senior coaches that have completed the Aussie Hoops / Community accreditation.
This accreditation allows for coach payments or discounts based on experience and if approved by Head Coach and Crushers Committee.

$30-$50 per session and game

20% discount per child
Basketball Queensland Information
This is a more in-depth accreditation aimed at experienced coaches and includes presenting advanced tactics as well as improving some of the on-court competencies of a coach.
This is a minimum requirement to be a head coach at senior rep level, NBL1 North and QLD state teams.
Crushers Description
The Association Coach accreditation would suit a skills and development or head coach at Ormiston Crushers.
Payment Value
Payments for this senior role would be based on experience and role descriptions.
All coaches will be interviewed by representatives of our coaching team and club committee.
Any form of payments will be commensurate with experience and accreditation.
